Relaxing and entertaining at your home can be enhanced by having a nice and comfortable outdoor living space. A living space that flows from the inside of your home to the outside of your home and incorporates your backyard enjoyment. Decks and patios and walkways can make grilling, entertaining, and accessing your home very enjoyable.
We begin by envisioning the outdoor space to enter this beautiful home. The porch in the photo above was added to a classic center hall colonial located in the Chatham area. We incorporated brick masonry piers as well as a masonry front step feature. The Azek material paired with the fiberglass columns and new roof structure create a fantastic new look to the front of the home.
We continue with the photo that follows where you can see a large Azek deck that accesses the kitchen, backyard, and separately your family room. The deck also flows to the driveway.
We continue with more gorgeous outdoor living ideas. The first photo below shows how we were able to create a ground level deck that connected the house to the backyard. The Azek decking and railing are maintenance free and include a two-color design combination.
The second photo is where we replaced a wood deck that had become structurally compromised. We used a local architect to design a size increase that included reconfiguring the stair location. This design allowed access to a new ground level patio and allowed the clients to increase their ability to entertain.
Now we continue with another beautiful entry. This front porch combined with stonework, roof overhang, and railings completely change the look of this home. The hardscaping ties nicely into the stone columns. The porch creates much more exterior living space.
